Happy New Year

2012 has been extremely blessed for us!

On April 7, 2012 we became the happiest women on earth when we stood in front of God and our friends and family and pledged our love to each other now and forever!

We love the passage of marriage equality in Maine, Maryland and Washington, that has added to the #idomarathon.  Now 9 marriages instead of the original 7!

Of course the launch of www.idomarathon.com, in which the responses have been extremely positive.

We just want to thank everyone for being with us through this leg of the journey, but it's not over yet!! 3 more months to go!

We had already had the "no Christmas presents" talk with the kids, so they did not want to put the tree up. But some angels touched our family and got them SOMETHING. So me and Chwanda just put the tree up for them, so when they wake up tomorrow and come out their rooms, the tree will be the first thing they see!

So in the midst of your joy, please take the time out to remember those less fortunate and at least send a prayer up for them!! You can send our prayers up now!!

Yes, we want to protect our children from harm, but we can't keep them locked away from the world. We want them to live and have fun and have a life.  Not to be afraid of life and love. We just pray that we have taught our children enough to protect themselves and to have faith that things will be fine.
